Tim Tebow is once against a free agent after being released by the Patriots during 53-man roster cut downs and the feeling is all too familiar for the quarterback, as he was a man without a team for some time after the Jets released him and before he was picked up by New England.

Now with the Jacksonville Jaguars struggling so hard on offense after getting beat by the Chiefs and losing Blaine Gabbert to an injury, should the team take a flyer on Tebow?

Tebow is contemplating his NFL future (if he even has one at this point) and even though some people in football circles feel that he should change positions to try and make it in the league, reports have come out that he won't. According to SI.com, at least one NFL team expressed interest in Tebow, but Peter King wrote that it was under the condition that he would change positions and Tebow expressed that he was not interested in that.

But would he be interested in changing football leagues? After previously getting offers from the Philadelphia Soul in the Arena League, another franchise has come knocking in the LA Kiss, which happens to be owned by the band KISS. The team put out a press release commending Tebow for his status as a respected athlete and mentioned the allure of playing in a city like Los Angeles. Gene Simmons mentioned the merchandising potential of Tebow playing for the team and that Tebow would be able to get the experience he needs on the field.

Tebow was released from the Patriots after having a mediocre preseason and while he had a few moments where he looked like a legitimate NFL quarterback, he also had some very bad overthrows, including two against the New York Giants on the same drive. He also had a 50-yard touchdown in that game, but head coach Bill Belichick knows his roster spots are too valuable to keep someone he won't play. On top of that, in three of the past four years the Pats have only held two quarterbacks and this release continues that trend.

Tebow now has the chance to play in the Arena League or Canadian Football League and there always is a chance that another team might take a flyer on him.
