The 2013 U.S. Open Men's Singles Final is here. Find out the matchup, time and TV information about where and when to watch the last match of the tennis season.  It will be a classic battle between two of the games' best players of this generation.

Matchup: Novak Djokovic vs. Rafael Nadal

Time: 5 p.m. ET

TV Channel: CBS

The organizers were smart to have the Open Final take place earlier in the afternoon. Sure, some people might have to get out of work early, but they don't have to worry about clashing with the premiere of Monday Night Football. It will be a heck of a matchup too, but let's focus on tennis.

Djokovic and Nadal face off in Arthur Ashe Stadium for the Men's Singles championship. The two players are no strangers to each other, having faced off 36 times in their careers. As the numbers have it, they have met 16 times in tournament finals, six times in grand slam finals and they each have won three times. This probably will not be the final time they meet in a final, so there is no point in placing so much emphasis on this matchup. However, the winner of this meeting will take home their second grand slam title of the season and could also possible take the No. 1 seed.

Djokovic as No. 1 and Nadal is No. 2. You couldn't have it any other way.

Both players have had their success in this tournament, while being pushed to the brink in earlier rounds. Djokovic was tested recently. He dropped his first set at the U.S. Open in the quarterfinals against Mikhail Youzhny and then somehow avoided elimination by defeating Stanislas Wawrinka in five sets. Nadal has had an easier time in the tournament. The only set he dropped came in the fourth round against Philipp Kohlschreiber.

Nadal has not fared well in hard courts, but 2013 has been his year. The Spaniard continues his hot streak, now winning 21 consecutive matches in hard courts. Djokovic continues to dominate in grand slam tournaments. He has made finals appearances in three of the four majors in 2013.
