The Pittsburgh Steelers missed the playoffs last season and after being inconsistent on offense in 2012, the team drafted running back Le'Veon Bell to get the rushing game going and after he injured his foot badly in the preseason, Isaac Redman and Felix Jones along with La'Rod Stephens-Howling will be his replacements at running back until he is healthy.

Bell will take over the starting job once he returns from injury, which the team though was a Lisfranc but now appears to be just a serious sprain and according to ESPN.com, he is already out of his walking boot. The Steelers have not said how long exactly Bell will be out but some estimates have it for at least a month before he is fully healthy. Fantasy wise Bell was being looked at as a solid starting running back and any owners that previously drafted him or are looking to draft him should pick up Isaac Redman or Felix Jones, as both those those players will be getting more carries without Bell in, along with Stephens-Howling.

Last season Redman rushed for 410 yards and two touchdowns and he also was solid out of the backfield with 19 catches and he could put up some very good numbers early before Bell returns. Redman was named the starter and after the team let go of Jonathan Dwyer he will be the main option in the rushing game will be him and Jones. Redman was considered the co-starter before Bell was injured and the team acquired Felix Jones in a trade with the Eagles and he should be in the mix as well for the team. Dwyer ended up leading the team last season in yards with 623 and now he is gone and Jones is in.

Jones played with Dallas from 2008 to 2010 and rushed for over 2,500 yards and he will be the second option for the team until Bell returns. The team did not bring back Rashard Mendenhall after dealing with injuries last season and now he is with the Arizona Cardinals and should be in the mix there with rookies Andre Ellington and Stepfan Taylor. Dwyer helped the Steelers after injuries last season and now the team clearly is ready to move on with Bell as the main option when he returns.

For anyone looking for value late in drafts if Bell drops, he should be one to select, while Jones and Redman are important handcuffs for any owner that has Bell.
