The fantasy football season gets officially started on Thursday with the Denver Broncos hosting the Baltimore Ravens and with drafts going on all week leading up to Opening Night, owners have to make crucial decisions that will set them up for victory and dual threat running backs that can help in 2013 include players like David Wilson, Arian Foster, Reggie Bush, Shane Vereen and Darren Sproles.

Sproles puts up stats that are more like a receiver for the Saints and in PPR leagues he is a very valuable running back, as it Reggie Bush since he is moving to the Detroit Lions. Bush was with the Saints before Sproles and served the same purpose, putting up ridiculous amounts of catches over his first couple seasons and now that he is moving to the Lions, he should put up even more numbers because the team is planning to use the screen plenty in 2013. Wilson and Shane Vereen are expected to be used out of the backfield and Arian Foster should also put up numbers if healthy.

Wilson now should be considered a high pick in fantasy leagues, especially PPR leagues, after Andre Brown was injured. Wilson showed last season that he can be electric on the field and he was already expected to get starting carries along with Brown and now that he is out for at least a month with a broken leg, Wilson is going to get plenty of chances and head coach Tom Coughlin said he would also get the chance to serve as the goal line back with Brown out and he showed his explosiveness in the preseason by averaging over seven yards per carry.

Last season Wilson had a game with over 300 total yards and while he may have less kickoff duties with Brown out, he still should put up some big numbers until he returns and the young running back said all offseason that he would be ready for more work. Brown had eight touchdowns last season in 10 games, including plenty of goal line scores and now Wilson will get those chances. Wilson can get better at catching the ball out of the backfield and last season he rushed for 358 yards and four touchdowns and had limited opportunities in the passing game.

Bush already showed in the preseason with his five catch, 103 yards game against the Patriots that he should be very involved in the passing game and with Calvin Johnson on the outside. The Lions are a passing team, but Bush will give them more consistency and explosiveness in the backfield and after dealing with injuries literally every year, names like Jahvid Best and Joique Bell, Bush has shown that he can be durable and productive.

Vereen is considered one of the biggest sleepers of the draft, as Bill Belichick is expected to use him heavily in the passing game in the same way the team used Aaron Hernandez. The former tight end would lineup at his position, in the backfield and in the slot as a receiver and Vereen could end up making up for all that lost production. All are solid options in PPR leagues.
