The Florida Gators are coming into the 2013 season with high expectations after finishing 11-2 and 7-1 in the SEC last season and after going 5-1 against the East, the team will be a favorite once again with Georgia and South Carolina to come out of the division.

The team has a solid schedule this season and while they avoid Alabama and other strong teams, they have tough tilts against Miami, Kentucky, Tennessee as well as Georgia, Arkansas, LSU, South Carolina and Florida State. The team is coming back after losing leading rusher Mike Gillislee and Jeff Driskel returns after leading the team at quarterback last season. The tough games on the schedule include a road game at the Gamecocks as well as back to back road games against LSU and Missouri in the middle of the season.

One of the most anticipated games will be against Georgia on CBS in November and the first big game of the season will be on ESPN against the University of Miami and that is also a road game. The team ranked 118th in passing yards per game last season and 39th in rushing and they had the fifth ranked defense with under 15 points against per game.
