Seattle Seahawks Preseason TV Schedule: Russell Wilson
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson"

The NFL's most surprising team in 2012 will take the field for their first preseason game in 2013. Yes! Football is back, but before the regular season starts, we have to get pumped for preseason football. The Seattle Seahawks take on the unimpressive San Diego Chargers. Why do the San Francisco 49ers get to highlight the first week of preseason? Anyways here's the game time, with channel information as the schedule shows that there will be football TONIGHT!

Channel: NFL Network

Time: 10 p.m. ET.

How about them Seahawks? "Oh, Russell Wilson isn't the real deal. He can't throw. His arm is weak." Those were the talks in the NFL during the 2012 campaign. After 11 wins and a divisional round playoff appearance that barely saw the Seahawks get eliminated, suddenly, they were considered true contenders.

When they acquired Percy Harvin, who recently underwent hip surgery, the Seahawks were practically handed the division. However, they will have to put in some work now that Harvin might possibly be out for the entire season. They still have a strong receiving core with Sidney Rice and Golden Tate. Wilson is still running the offense and Marshawn Lynch is still the running back, not to mention the Seahawks' defense is deadly.

The Chargers have always been considered a talented bunch. They are always in playoff talks, but as of late, the Chargers haven't been what many expected. Last season, they were 7-9. With the Denver Broncos bolstering their lineup, the Cincinnati Bengals and Houston Texans coming of age and the Indianapolis Colts shattering expectations, there wasn't much room for the Chargers in the postseason.

Philip Rivers still has one of the better arms in the league, passing for over 3,500 yards and throwing 26 touchdowns in 2012. Philip, along with everybody else in the Chargers' organization, hopes that running back Ryan Mathews can once again rush for 1,000, like he did in 2011.

The Chargers could use a boost in their wide receiver corps as they simply possess names. Robert Meachem, Malcom Floyd and Eddie Royal have all put together great seasons in the past. However, Floyd was the only reliable receiver in the Chargers' group going for 814 yards and five touchdowns in 2012. They hope Danario Alexander comes back strong in 2013 after going for 658 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.

Whoo! It feels great to once again talk football. Hang in there, less than 10 hours until kickoff!
