New England Patriots quarterback Tim Tebow has continued his busy offseason of appearances and studying to be Tom Brady's backup with a number of speaking engagements, including this past weekend at the Southwest Elite 7-on-7 Showcase event at the Northwest Arkansas Convention Center.

Tebow has spoken at numerous events during the offseason and he makes some nice dough doing it and he was at it again on Friday, as he spoke to a large crowd at the Northwest Arkansas Convention Center for the Southwest Elite 7 on 7 tournament. The even had over 30 teams from high schools in 11 states attending and they played against each other at Shiloh Christian School in Springdale

Tebow gave a talk to the teams and attendees and spoke about his time in the NFL, his Christian faith and his beliefs in hard work and dedication on and off the field. He was brought in to show leadership qualities and to inspire the young athletes and the organizers were pleased with the outcome. Tebow came to the Patriots after being released by the Jets and that came after a very hyped up trade from the Denver Broncos.

The Jets showed how much of a joke they are by how they used Tebow and he ended up with just 102 yards rushing and 39 passing as the team stuck him on special teams most of the time. The Jets lied about what they wanted to do with Tebow and eventually they just decided to release him and acted like they never needed him in the first place. Now the Patriots will get the chance to use him and they are guaranteed to handle it better than the Jets did, as it was a total; disaster.

Tebow now will get to learn from one of the best quarterbacks ever and he also will be reunited with his former head coach Josh McDaniels, who drafted him with the Broncos. Tebow is a winner and he has proven that he could do it at every level, including in college with the Gators.
