The NBA draft is just one day away and after weeks of workouts, speculation and rumors about what the top teams will do, the league will be converging on the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the event and the top five picks are the Cleveland Cavaliers, Orlando Magic, Washington Wizards, Charlotte Bobcats and the Phoenix Suns.

The top of the draft has had lots of rumors at the top, especially with the Cavaliers and the number one pick, although they have not yet come close to making a deal. The team has had talks with the Blazers and there are also reports about the Dallas Mavericks and Oklahoma City Thunder trading for the pick. The Blazers deal initially involved LaMarcus Aldridge and the number one and 19 pick, but so far that hasn't been moving. Most mock drafts have Alex Len or Nerlens Noel going number one in the draft, but if another team trades for the pick that could change.

There have been even more teams looking to move in the draft as well with the Denver Nuggets shopping the number 27 pick as well as the Sacramento Kings trying to trade Jimmer Fredette for a top pick. The Timberwolves have been mentioned in a number of rumors involving Derrick Williams and MarShon Brooks from the Nets and the team has a number of draft picks to work with. The Cavaliers have multiple picks as well and that is one reason why they are willing to deal the number one overall selection.

The team has spoken with the Timberwolves about Kevin Love as well as the Mavericks with Shawn Marion and since they have multiple draft picks in both rounds, they feel they are in good position to make a deal. The Bobcats and Clippers have also been working on deals and the Cavaliers have also inquired about possibly trading for Celtics star Paul Pierce, who would be following Doc Rivers out of town after he went to the Clippers.
