Lindsey Vonn has been in the news a ton lately for her relationship with Tiger Woods, now another relationship has thrusted her into the headlines, as the Olympic skier visited with alleged German doping doctor Bernd Pansold.

According to the NY Daily News, Vonn spent time working out in Germany while preparing for the Sochi Games in Russia at the Red Bull training facility and while there she saw Pansold. The report says that while there has been no doping evidence tied to Vonn, the visit and the connection is a red flag, as he was a doctor that gave young athletes anabolic steroids in the past.

Vonn is coming back from a serious knee injury suffered in Austria and she has repeatedly said that she will be ready for the Olympic games. Vonn has worked out at the training center for FC Red Bull Salzburg, in Taxham and while her publicist first said she didn't visit with the doctor, they later said that they spoke. Vonn has been given quite the package while training, including "a full-time personal trainer, a motorhome on the Alpine race circuit, occasional use of company jets, a job for her younger sister."

Pansold said that Vonn visits twice per year and the Daily News report said that is one reason why she hasn't made a big deal about her training visits in the press. While there isn't a direct connection saying she took steroids, it is a connection that is not so great to reveal.
