LA vs. EDM live stream
Edmonton Oilers' Nail Yakupov celebrates with team mates Eric Belanger, Taylor Hall and Justin Schultz after scoring the tying goal in the dying seconds of their NHL hockey game against the Los Angeles Kings in Edmonton January 24, 2013. "

Both Los Angeles and Edmonton are struggling to get any kind of offense moving this season. Coming off a Stanley Cup victory, the Kings are looking less and less likely to have a good follow-up performance. Edmonton is coming off its best offensive outing. In the team's win against Colorado, they scored six goals, including five unanswered to end the game. This could be the kind of momentum the Oilers need to put up a few wins this season.

Los Angeles is struggling to score this season. They are one of two teams yet to score 30 goals. They are currently the fourth-worst in the NHL with a 2.23 goals-per-game average. Goalie Jonathan Quick has allowed three goals in each of his last three straight starts, all losses for L.A. Quick does have a 5-0-2 record against Edmonton with a 1.41 goals-against average. This could be a game the Kings could get some offense going if Quick is able to hold up on his end. The lone bright spot for the Kings comes in Mike Richards. Richards had a pair of power-play goals in the team's loss against Chicago on Sunday. He is the only one scoring on the team right now.

Edmonton has had a scoring drought as well this season, managing more than two goals only once in their last eight games. But they turned things around Sunday, scoring six goals from five different players. The team attempted 56 shots, much higher than their season average of 26.9 per game. Edmonton's power play has been a secret weapon. They scored twice in four chances on Saturday after only going 3-for-31 in the previous seven games.

The Kings will be without Alec Martinez and Willie Mitchell who are both day-to-day. Teemu Hartikainen and Theo Peckham are both out for Edmonton.
