NFC Wild Card Game Weather Forecast: Green Bay is Cold, Lambeau Field is Icy

Check here for the 2014 actual weather for the Green Bay Game.

The NFL Wild Card game is tonight and of course, speaking of Green Bay in January is synonamous with freezing temperatures. For people who don't know what cold is during a football game, Lambeau Field provides some of the toughest conditions for NFL players, but they continue people. Here we bring you the Green Bay forecast as the Packers host the Minnesota Vikings in this first round of the playoffs.

Whats the weather like in Green Bay?
Well current conditions have thermometers reading
16 degrees Fahrenheight, but it really feels like 9 degrees. It's partly cloudy and the humidity is sitting at 85 percent.

Of course, the game isn't being played now, so these weather conditions are probably good for those who want to tailgate. There's a bit of precipitation heading towards Lambeau Field tonight.

Conditions at night are calling for a low of 21 degrees with a chance of flurries and a breeze that will make it colder and harder to throw as it will be blowing 11 miles per hour at around gametime.

Lambeau Field has a reputation for hosting cold games. You would think the Packers wouldn't enjoy being a good team with the weather conditions they face in the winter.

The coldest game every played in Lambeau Field featured temperatures dipping at -13 degrees Fahrenheit with a wind chill of -46. It was the "Ice Bowl" back in 1967.

40 years later, the Packers hosted New York Giants in the NFC Championship game in horrific temperatures. Aside from the Giants' victory, this is all I could remember

Tom Coughlin.

Even the camera was chilly as it captured an eternally blushing Coach Coughlin on the Giants' sidelines. Ultimately, the cold was worth it for the Giants as they eventually went on to win the Super Bowl.

Luckily, for all of those on the sidelines and on the field, the weather won't create so much havoc.
