NFL Week 16 Fantasy Football Preview (Championship Edition): St. Louis Rams at Seattle Seahawks, Russell Wilson, Doug Baldwin, Todd Gurley, Tavon Austin

St. Louis Rams

Todd Gurley (Running Back): Todd Gurley is going up against a defense that has allowed the fewest fantasy points in the NFL. He has three touchdowns in his last two games and is easily the most effective player on the Rams. He had a heavy workload last week so expect the Rams to rely heavily on the ground game in this contest.

Tavon Austin (Wide Receiver): The Seahawks secondary is playing lights out football as we move towards the end of the season. Last week Austin was utilized how he has been all season long as a complex gadget player. He recorded both a rushing and receiving touchdown last week and typically is good against tough defenses. Expect opposing defenses to key in on Gurley which will leave room for Austin to make some plays.

Seattle Seahawks

Russell Wilson (Quarterback): Wilson has absolutely been on fire for the last few weeks. Wilson has had 19 touchdowns in the last 5 games and has become the focal point of the Seahawks offense. Wilson has not thrown an interception since week 10 and he continues to make a strong argument for MVP consideration.

Doug Baldwin (Wide Receiver): The Rams have given up the 6th fewest fantasy points to wide receivers but make no mistake about it Doug Baldwin is on a tear. He has 10 touchdowns over the last 4 games and is averaging around 4-6 receptions per game. Baldwin is Wilson's most trusted receiver which makes him a solid start heading into week 16.
