The 4-4 Utah Jazz will take their act on the road when they travel to TD Garden to face the 4-3 Boston Celtics Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Former Celtic Al Jefferson makes his return in this matchup, where he hasn't played a home game since 2007.

With their 4-4 record, Jefferson played a big role in both of those victories, a 94-81 win over the Phoenix Suns and a wild 140-133 triple overtime win against the Toronto Raptors on Monday.

 Jefferson led the Jazz with 27 points and 14 rebounds in the win over Phoenix while tallying 24 points and 17 rebounds in the Toronto game. Through eight games, Jefferson is averaging 15.2 points and 11.5 boards.

Meanwhile, Boston's Rajon Rondo has become an even bigger asset to the Celtics this season, and his increased scoring ability has made him even more of threat.

Rondo leads the league with 12.9 assists per game after finishing with 20 points, nine rebounds and 10 assists in Monday's 101-95 victory at Chicago. He averaged an NBA-best 11.7 assists last season and finished second to Steve Nash at 11.2 per game in 2010-11.

Monday marked Rondo's 31st straight game with at least 10 assists, giving him the league's longest streak since John Stockton did it in 37 in a row from Feb. 27-Nov. 29, 1989.
