NFL Week 9 Fantasy Preview: Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys, Dez Bryant, Darren McFadden, Christine Michael, Terrance Williams, Jason Witten

Philadelphia Eagles

DeMarco Murray/Ryan Mathews (Running Backs): This running attack will be facing a defense that has given up the 5th most fantasy points to running backs all season. This defense held Murray to two yards the last time they met and that was without Greg Hardy. The Cowboys will be up for this game and stopping the run is the way to beat the Eagles. Mathews however sees some value as the change of pace back who has been the most effective running back on the Eagles roster.

Dallas Cowboys

Christine Michael/Darren McFadden (Running Backs): McFadden will have a tough time against a strong Philadelphia run defense. This Dallas running attack is just beginning to be defined, so it is hard to say which running back will get the most carries. The Cowboys also have the newly signed Trey Williams and Rod Smith waiting in the wings.

Dez Bryant/Terrance Williams (Wide Receivers): Bryant gets an easier assignment this week since Richard Sherman is not there to blanket him in coverage. The Eagles have given up the 5th most fantasy points to wide receivers so this is a very favorable matchup. Even with Matt Cassel at quarterback Dez Bryant should put up some solid numbers against a vulnerable defense.

Jason Witten (Tight End): Witten had a rough outing last week and this week will be just as tough as the Eagles have been extremely tough on tight ends this season. Witten has been a bit banged up these past few weeks and this matchup does not help his case either. There are better options at tight end this week.
