NFL News: Darren McFadden, Christine Michael Starters, Joseph Randle Released By Jerry Jones

The Dallas Cowboys have released running back Joseph Randle as the trade deadline looms on the horizon. The Cowboys have been dealing with Randle's off the field issues for quite some time, and his performance on the field has left something to be desired for.

Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett who always states that the Cowboys are looking for the "right kind of guys" seemingly got tired of dealing with Randle's constant brushes with the law. Garrett has not been pleased with Randle since he got yanked from a game for extending the football over a pile that almost cost the Cowboys a goal line fumble.

Randle has not responded to coaching well and instead of taking advantage of such a huge opportunity he has instead wasted it now being relegated to free agency.

This move however makes you wonder if the Cowboys have some other things going on behind the scenes as the trade deadline draws to a close. The Cowboys have been rumored to be involved in trading for a running back this whole season so I would not be surprised if Jerry has something up his sleeve.

Matt Forte is most likely available even though he is injured however I would not be surprised if the Cowboys traded for another young running back to compliment McFadden and Michael.
