Houston Texans News: Arian Foster Suffers Injury In Week 7, Achilles Tear Feared By Team Following Groin Injury This Season

The Houston Texans were destroyed in week 7 however they might have bigger concerns going forward. Star running back Arian Foster was carted off the field late into the blowout.

Foster apparently suffered a torn Achilles which will effectively end his season. Foster suffered a brutal groin injury earlier in the season, were he tore his groin muscle off the bone. Foster had just returned making the timing of this injury as frustrating as possible and this could mean that he will not see the field for quite some time.

The Texans saw their star running back hit the 100 yard mark for the 50th time which is a team record. The Texans have struggled all season and getting blown out by the Dolphins just continues the losing streak. The Texans struggled to run the ball when Foster was out so this should become a concern once again.

Chris Polk will likely be the replacement along with Alfred Blue however Blue failed to do much in the handful of starts he had. It appears the Texans will have to focus on several areas of deficiency in this upcoming 2016 draft; it is likely the Texans will need both a new starting quarterback and running back heading into the future.
