Miami Heat vs. New York Knicks Live Stream: Watch Online Playoff Eastern Conference Rematch At 8:00 PM ET

The New York Knicks begin their season against the visiting and current reigning NBA champions Miami Heat Friday at 8:00 p.m. ET.

The Knicks were supposed to begin their season on Thursday against the Brooklyn Nets, but the game was rightly postponed because of the effects of Hurricane Sandy.

There are a few who think that Friday's game against the Heat should have been postponed, especially with the outrage guided at Sunday's New York City Marathon that is still scheduled, but the NBA has decided the game is on.

Amar'e Stoudemire will be out for the Knicks, as he'll miss the first five or six weeks of the season with a knee injury. Newly-acquired center Marcus Camby, who didn't play in the preseason due to injury, is expected to be in uniform.

Tyson Chandler, last season's Defensive Player of the Year, is expected to resume his place as tarting center after an injury late in preseason.

Meanwhile, Miami is 1-0 on the early season, having defeated the Boston Celtics by a 120-107 score in their season opener on Tuesday.

The Heat appeared to get stronger during the offseason with the additions of Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis, and opened their season Tuesday with a 120-107 victory over the Boston
