Detroit Lions vs. Washington Redskins Live Stream: Watch NFL Preseason Online Streaming Game

The Washington Redskins and Detroit Lions are playing live for the Week 2 NFL preseason schedule on Thursday night and the matchup from FedEx Field in Landover starts up at 7:30 pm ET and has Robert Griffin III, Matthew Stafford, Alfred Morris and Calvin Johnson looking to get things going in the second week of games. The game is on ahead of the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills playing on ESPN.

The Redskins are looking to keep things going after winning against the Cleveland Browns and while it's just the preseason, any positive play is big for the team. Robert Griffin is coming in as the starter and he feels that he can be the best QB in the league. Griffin has not been able to get it together for a full season since he was a rookie and the Redskins success this season will largely depend on how he plays. Jay Gruden is confident in Griffin and clearly RG3 is confident in himself.

The Lions come into the game after a win against the Jets in the opening week of the preseason. The team will play against the Redskins and Jaguars next on the road, while the Bills are next on the schedule. The Lions open the season with three of four on the road, including the Chargers and Vikings before opening at home against the Broncos. The team has back to back primetime games with the Broncos and Seahawks.

The Redskins had the Browns to open the preseason and coming up next they have the Lions at home before a game on the road against the Baltimore Ravens. The team finishes off the preseason with the Jaguars at home and then they will open the season against the Miami Dolphins on the schedule. The Redskins have a decent stretch to start the season with home games against Miami and the Rams and then the team has three of four on the road.

The Redskins have four of six on the road during this next stretch, including trips to play the Giants, Falcons, Jets and Patriots. The other home games during that time are the Eagles and the Buccaneers and the Bucs game comes ahead of that Patriots matchup. The schedule continues with the Saints at home and then the Panthers on the road for the Redskins before taking on the Giants and Cowboys in back to back home games.

The Redskins then will play against the Bears on the road and that starts a brutal three games on the road in four week stretch. The team ends the season with the Bills, Eagles and Cowboys and those games will not be easy, even with the Buffalo game at home. The Redskins will be playing on Thursday night against the Lions without DeAngelo Hall, as he will be out with a toe issue and he did not play in the first preseason game.
