NFL Preseason Preview: Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Minnesota Vikings, Adrian Peterson Not Playing? Jameis Winston Makes Debut for Bucs

1.       How will Jameis Winston perform?

Winston was the first pick overall in 2015 so all eyes will be on him to produce. Winston will be the Buccaneers quarterback for a while so they will have to deal with the good and the bad. So far, Marcus Mariota has appeared to be the sharper quarterback but it could be that the Titan's defense is just worse.

2.       How will Teddy Bridgewater perform?

Bridgewater is in his second year and looked pretty good in the Hall of Fame game. Bridgewater looks more decisive in his throws and looks incredibly confident leading the Viking's offense especially with Adrian Peterson back in the fold.

3.       How will the Buccaneers wide receivers play?

Can Mike Evans, Kenny Bell, and Vincent Jackson adjust to Winston's style of play? The Tampa Bay wide receivers may finally have a quarterback that can bring them some consistency.

4.       Who will emerge as a leader for the Vikings WRs?

Charles Johnson or Mike Wallace seems to be the question. Cordarelle Patterson has been slow in picking up the Viking's offensive playbook now this may become one of his make or break years. Wallace has a ton of confidence but until we see him effective in a game I don't know if I will buy it just yet. Charles Johnson has the best footwork and athletic build out of any receiver on the Viking's roster. Johnson appears to be the front runner for the number 1 wide receiver position.

5.       How will both running games look?

Can the Buccaneers get Doug Martin back to his original form? It is pretty much a forgone conclusion that Matt Asiata and Jerrick McKinnon will be leading the way for the Vikings. But if Doug Martin can get back to where he was a couple of seasons ago and the Buccaneers offensive line can be better and run blocking then look out. Both teams can run the ball effectively so this should be a pretty evenly matched competition; it will be interesting to see who runs it better.
