Jeremy Lin Still Sleeps On Teammates Couches, Money Hasn't Changed Much for the Star

Jeremy Lin signed a multi-year deal worth millions of dollars to play for the Houston Rockets, but even then, the NBA's 2011 sensation remains humbled at the fact that he still has to find places to crash at. Most recently, Lin teammate Chandler Parson if he could sleep on his couch.

Lin, while in the middle of his NBA break through last season, found himself rooming with former teammate Landry Fields. Rather than having his own room, however, Lin was staying on Fields' couch. Lin could not buy an apartment since he did not know how long his tenure would last with the New York Knicks and he was waiting for a pay raise as his contract would kick in after a few more days of playing.

This is the photo of Lin's text to Chandler Parson, which Parson made public on twitter.

With the text, Lin is showing that he is at least making friends out in Houston. Over the summer, his three-year contract went for $25 million with a heavy pay raise in the third year. The Knicks were less than happy to match this deal as they did not like the heavy loaded end of the deal that would cost them around $14 million.

Moving west will mean playing against tougher teams and competing against some of the top guards in the league. Lin is ready for the challenge, but first, he has just over a month to receive his furniture and settle in a place he can call his own.

Lin, you're getting paid. It's cute to some people, but come on man.
