On a full day of playoff action for the 2012-13 UEFA Europa League, the best-known club in the field will look to take an early lead when Liverpool travels to Edinburgh, Scotland to face Heart of Midlothan F.C. at Tynecastle Stadium. Kick-off is set for 2:45 p.m. ET.

The game will be broadcast in the United States on Fox Soccer Channel in English and on ESPN Deportes in Spanish. Streaming video will be available through the Fox Soccer 2 Go service for the English-language broadcast and on WatchESPN.com and the Watch ESPN app for the Spanish-language broadcast.

Liverpool is in the playoff round after winning the League Cup last season, which put the club in the third qualifying round. There, Liverpool defeated Belarusian club Gomel, 4-0 on aggregate, with Stewart Downing scoring for the Reds at Central Stadion and Fabio Borini, Steven Gerrard and Glen Johnson scoring at Anfield. Hearts advanced directly to the playoff round by winning the Scottish Cup in 2011-12.

Liverpool is currently 0-0-1 in the Barclays Premier League after a stunning defeat at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, while Hearts are second in the Scottish Premier League with five points after three matches, having defeated St. Johnstone and drawn against Hibernian and Inverness CT.
