Olympics 2012 Men's Indoor Volleyball Live Stream: Brazil vs. Russia in Final for Gold Medal

The men's volleyball gold medal final will feature Brazil against Russia Sunday at 8:00 a.m. ET.

The Brazilian men's volleyball squad clobbered Italy on Friday to advance to the final of the 2012 London Olympics.

The Brazilian bench played a big role in Friday's resounding victory, as Wallace de Souza showed himself up to the task of filling in for the injured Leandro Vissotto.

After being routed in the second set, Italy showed some life in the third, taking a 9-6 lead before the Brazilians put the match away, delighting the thousands of their compatriots in the stands at Earls Court.

Brazil, which won gold eight years ago in Athens and the silver at the 2008 Games in Beijing, prevailed over the Italians by three sets to none (25-21, 25-12, 25-21).

For Brazil it will be their third successive final and an opportunity to reclaim the title.

Brazil would become just the second nation to sweep the competition in the men's and women's categories after the former Soviet Union did it in Mexico in 1968 and Moscow in 1980.

Russia overcame underdogs Bulgaria 3-1 in a testing four-set encounter.

Russia have gone 32 years since they won men's volleyball gold and have lost two finals in the intervening years.

Brazil beat Russia in the group stage to even the overall Olympic record between the teams at 4-4. But with a gold medal on the line, neither team expects that preliminary result to matter.
