Thursday Night Football TV Schedule: NFL Game Start Time and Channel For Patriots and Jets

The Thursday night football schedule for NFL Week 7 has the New England Patriots and New York Jets playing and the game start time is at 8:25 pm ET and is on TV from the CBS channel and NFL Network as Tom Brady faces off against Geno Smith in an AFC East divisional game to kick off the football slate for this week.

The Patriots come into the game after a win over the Bills and now they have the chance to basically end the Jets season with a victory here. The Jets are 1-5 and have lost five in a row and now they have to go on the road against the Pats in New England. The Patriots have been clicking on offense after struggling to start the season and Brady has really turned things on in the past couple weeks and he comes in after his best game of the year so far.

The Jets are reeling, but this is the time they usually step things up and Rex Ryan will have his team ready to go. Tom Brady and the Patriots can basically end the season for the Jets with a win here and this would be big for them in the division race. The Patriots are back in the lead again in the east after winning last week and now they have the Jets before a tough matchup with the Bears and that will be at home next weekend.

Tom Brady had his best game of the season against the Bills with 361 yards and now he has the chance to play against the Jets. The Jets are dealing with some major cornerback issues and that could lead to a big game from Brady on Thursday night.
