Denver Broncos Rumors: Ronnie Hillman, CJ Anderson Best Fantasy Pick Ups For Montee Ball As Emmanuel Sanders Sleeper Start?

The Denver Broncos have Montee Ball dealing with an injury and now fantasy football owners should look at Ronnie Hillman and CJ Anderson as their best pick up options to replace him for now in Week 6, while Emmanuel Sanders has become a true sleeper for Peyton Manning and he has put up some great numbers alongside Demaryius Thomas and Wes Welker in the offense.

Ball was injured last week and the groin injury he suffered doesn't need surgery, but according to Pro Football Talk, it may keep him off the field for multiple weeks. The report says three weeks could be the number and that's big for fantasy football owners. Hillman came in after he was injured and carried the ball as the starter and he likely will get starter carries over Anderson. Fantasy owners in deep leagues should look at Anderson, while Hillman is the better option right now until Ball returns.

Hillman has the chance to have a strong game against the Jets this weekend and Anderson should get in on the action as well. Last week the Jets gave up over 100 yards to a rookie in Branden Oliver with the Chargers and now Hillman gets his chance. Ball is expected to miss three weeks and after playing the Jets the team has the 49ers and while their defense is very good, they have been giving up rushing yards and that could be big for Hillman. Anderson and Juwan Thompson are options in deeper leagues, but if owners can get Hillman, he is the best option.

The Broncos always put up points and while Rex Ryan and the Jets think that they can play tight with Denver, it's likely they get blown out again with the way they are playing. The Jets are coming off of a horrible game against the Chargers and they were the first team to get shutout this season and now they have the tough task of matching up with Peyton Manning. On top of that, the Jets have QB issues with Geno Smith and an injury to Eric Decker, which will make things even tougher on Sunday.

Ball has nearly 200 yards rushing this season and Hillman comes in after putting up 66 yards in two games this season. ESPN.com reports that Hillman will get about 55 percent of the carries on Sunday with Anderson and he should be the main start option, as he could be getting 15-20 touches against the Jets. Anderson is an option that could be used in goal line situations and that could take away some points from Hillman, but nothing major.

Emmanuel Sanders has been fantastic this season since coming over as a free agent and he is a favorite of Peyton Manning this year. Sanders is on pace for over 110 catches and he already has 32 catches for 435 yards this season and three TDs and he likely will shatter his career highs. Sanders is on pace for over 1700 yards and while he may not keep that up all season, he has the chance to be one of the league leaders and with the Jets CB situation a mess as well, he could have a huge game.
