Washington Nationals vs. San Francisco Giants Live Stream: Watch Online NLDS Game

The San Francisco Giants and Washington Nationals are playing the NLDS live on Tuesday for Game 4 of the series and the matchup from AT&T Park in the playoffs has SF leading the Nats 2-1 in the series and the game starts on Fox Sports 1 at 9:07 pm ET with first pitch as Gio Gonzalez faces off against Ryan Vogelsong as the Giants try and end the duel in the National League Division series.

The last game saw the Nats take control after an error from stud Madison Bumgarner and that put the team in position to win the game. The series is now 2-1 and the Nationals are trying to stay alive to get the series back to Washington for one more game that would be a winner takes all. The team had the chance to get things even before Matt Williams took out Jordan Zimmermann and now they have one of their best pitchers in the game against Vogelsong.

Vogelsong and Gio are making their first starts in the postseason this year and Bumgarner was coming into the game last night after being amazing and winning against the Pirates. The Giants know what a comeback from 2-0 down feels like, as they did it against the Reds a couple years ago when they won the World Series. The team doesn't want to get to that point and they will do their best to end it on Tuesday night. The Dodgers are Cardinals are also 2-1 into Game 4 and that comes after the Orioles and Royals advanced in the AL playoffs.

The Giants had an up and down season and now they are in position to get back to the NLCS after winning it a couple years ago and they got in as the wild card team. The Giants had the NL West lead early in the season before giving it up and now they are the wild card team looking to knock off the top seed. The team knows what it's like to come from the brink, as they were down 2-0 and 3-1 in the playoffs two years ago in each series and came back to win. After doing that the team swept the World Series and they know what a game five means and they will do all they can to stop it.

The Nationals won the NL East this season over the Atlanta Braves and they did that by a wide margin and now they have no margin for error. The Giants have been in the position the Nationals are in and that is why they will do all they can to finish things off. The last time the Giants were in the playoffs they came back from a 2-0 deficit against the Reds in the NLDS and they ended up winning the World Series. The team then had a 3-1 lead to make up against the Cardinals and they were able to win that series before sweeping the championship.

The Giants have Vogelsong going and he has been solid this season with Matt Cain going down and he has helped glue the rotation together. The Nationals have as good of a pitching staff as anyone and Doug Fister showed that on Monday and now it will be up to Gonzalez to get it done.
