The NY Rangers and the New Jersey Devils are playing on the NHL preseason schedule on Saturday night and the rivalry game is the final matchup before the regular season and will be from the Prudential Center at 7 pm ET as New York gets their season ready to start after making to the Stanley Cup finals last year.
The Rangers come in after winning over the Chicago Blackhawks in a shootout and that came after the team previously won over the Blackhawks earlier in the preseason. The team now faces off against the new look Devils against the Devils and they will start the season against the St. Louis Blues and the Rangers come in after a surprising season that saw them make it to the Stanley Cup finals against the LA Kings.
The Rangers have high expectations for this season after falling in the finals last year and now they are getting ready to start the season. The Devils come in after a win against the Islanders in a shootout and they will open the season against the Flyers.
