Fantasy Football Sleepers Week 5: Steve Smith, Bishop Sankey, Jeremy Maclin, Niles Paul, Andre Williams, Justin Forsett Starter Options

The fantasy football week 5 matchup schedule has started and some sleepers and start options for the weekend include Steve Smith, Bishop Sankey, Jeremy Maclin, Niles Paul, Andre Williams, Justin Forsett, Allen Robinson, Alfred Blue, Jeremy Hill, Donald Brown and Malcom Floyd, as those names could be big for fantasy owners as they try and move into the second quarter of the season.

The fantasy week got started with a mess from the Vikings and now some of these names above can bail out fantasy owners, as Andre Williams, Justin Forsett and Alfred Blue all potentially could have strong weeks. Forsett has been solid with Ray Rice done in Baltimore and along with Lorenzo Taliaferro he has stabilized the rushing game for the team. Blue may get another start for Arian Foster with his hamstring ailing and he could be a surprise for fantasy owners this week.

Niles Paul appears set to return from his injury this week and that will be big for the Redskins and for fantasy owners. Jordan Reed is still out and Paul should pick up where he left off before getting injured in the game against the Giants. Bishop Sankey reportedly will be getting a bigger role with the Titans struggling and that could make him a great pickup in Week 5. Jeremy Hill has a matchup with the Patriots and with the way they are playing on D, he could be poised for a big game on Sunday night.

Smith comes in after having a fantastic game last week against his old team in the Panthers after putting up two touchdowns and 139 yards on seven catches and now he has the chance to do it again. Smith is on the leading receivers in the NFL and now he faces the Colts and this game could end up being a shootout between the two teams. Andrew Luck has been the best fantasy player in football and that means the score could get into the high numbers. Smith has been targeted the most on the Ravens and he has been the most productive player for Baltimore this season and he is third in receiving yards in the league.

Sankey is going to get a chance to shine for the Titans in Week 5, as the team has not been playing great and with Shonn Greene not getting it done, the rookie could step up. Sankey has steadily been on the field for more and more offensive plays for the Titans and this week he could basically be the starter. Last week he played in twice as many offensive snaps as Greene and Ken Whisenhunt has liked how he has been working in practice. The Browns are the next team on the schedule and that is a solid matchup for Sankey and the Titans.

Paul has been playing well this season and after dealing with a head injury, he will be back in the lineup. Forsett has been very solid and he could put up starter numbers this weekend, while Royal has the chance to step up again with the Chargers dealing with some injuries. Maclin has been playing well and he has emerged as the best target for Nick Foles and he comes into this week with 20 catches for 353 yards and three touchdowns in four games and he could have another breakout on Sunday.
