Michael Phelps DUI: Olympic Swimmer Arrested For Drunk Driving

Olympic champions swimmer Michael Phelps was arrested on a DUI charge in Maryland after police stopped the American star in Baltimore near 2 am ET on Tuesday and this marks the second time that Phelps has been arrested for DUI.

According to ESPN.com, Phelps was pulled over at the Fort McHenry Tunnel in Baltimore on Tuesday and he was "going 84 mph in a 45-mph zone" and he was later charged with driving under the influence and excessive speeding.

Phelps has previously been arrested for DUI in Maryland and that incident occurred back in 2004 on the Eastern Shore. Phelps has won 22 medals in the Olympics and is the most decorated Olympic athlete of all-time.
