The Seattle Sounders and Real Salt Lake are playing on the MLS schedule on Friday night in a massive game for the Major League Soccer standings and the matchup starts at 7:30 pm ET from SoDo at CenturyLink Field and the game is on TV from the NBC Sports Network and is streaming live from the NBCSN Sports Extra website online.

The Sounders have been the best team in the league throughout the season and now they have the chance to get a real test ahead of the playoffs with RSL. The Sounders are playing right across the street from Safeco Field on Friday as the Mariners take on the Oakland Athletics and the playoffs are in the atmosphere and now these two teams are playing for position as well. The teams are separated by just five points and the Sounders are still the top team on the table after winning against Chivas USA.

Real Salt Lake is on the road now after winning against Dallas away in their last game and both sides will be looking to get points on Friday night. The Sounders have 51 points and are first in the conference over the Galaxy, while Real Salt Lake is in third place on the league table. The teams have a lead on Dallas and Vancouver, while the Portland Timbers are in sixth place. The Rapids and Earthquakes are also in the mix ahead of Chivas USA in the bottom of the standings.
