Portland Timbers vs. Colorado Rapids Live Stream: Watch Online Streaming MLS Game

The Portland Timbers and Colorado Rapids are playing live on the MLS Soccer schedule on the NBC Sports Network and NBCSN Live Extra website and starts at 11 pm ET and 8 pm PT at Providence Park and the game comes after the Timbers lost to their rivals in the Seattle Sounders and they will play against Tottenham on Saturday.

The Timbers lost 2-0 to the Sounders last week and now they have gone four games without a win and they will be looking to snap that streak at home in Oregon. Portland is looking to beat the Rapids, who are coming in after a draw last weekend against the Philadelphia Union that was a back and forth game and this is the first time the teams are playing since March. The all time matchup between the two teams has Portland winning three of nine meetings and they are looking to bounce back after losing to Colorado earlier in the season.

The game back in March was in Colorado and that matchup saw Vicente Sanchez and Deshorn Brown score and the Rapids have not played well in Oregon over the years and they haven't scored since back in 2011 the first time they played there. The teams matched up in 2013 and that saw two wins by Portland and they have won the last three times the teams have played at home in Oregon in the Series and that makes Friday a game they can take as well. The Rapids have won all their games at home in this series and now they take the road again and they will try and stretch the winless streak for the Timbers.

The western conference has the Seattle Sounders leading the western conference and the MLS overall and the Portland Timbers are trying to get things going, as they are eighth in the conference. The Timbers have 21 points in 19 games and they are behind Chivas USA and Vancouver, while FC Dallas and Colorado are in fourth and fifth. The top three in the conference has the Galaxy, Real Salt Lake and the Sounders leading. The Eastern conference has Sporting Kansas City in first place ahead of DC United, Toronto FC, New England Revolution and New York Red Bulls in playoff position.

The Timbers played Seattle tough but couldn't pull out the game and now they have the longest streak of the season since going eight games at the start without a win and they will look at snapping the streak on Friday night. The Rapids came back from a 3-3 draw against Philadelphia and they are third in the west with 27 points from 18 games and are looking to keep moving up.
