The Seattle Seahawks are Super Bowl champions and they come into the season with one of the best chances at being a repeat winner in recent years, as they return the core of their team and with training camp opening soon the biggest issues for the team include the Marshawn Lynch situation and finding replacements for departed players like Walter Thurmond and Golden Tate.

Losing Tate isn't the worst thing, as the team will have Percy Harvin healthy for an entire season and that should give Russell Wilson a nice boost. The team has lost six starters from the Super Bowl team, but they return names like Richard Sherman, Lynch, Russell Wilson, Harvin, Earl Thomas and Doug Baldwin as well as Michael Bennett.

Lynch had some issues in the offseason about whether he would be at minicamp and while he showed up, he did not do much. Lynch had an "ankle" injury, but reports said he has been unhappy about his contract. Lynch is in the third year of a $30 million deal over four years and he will be making $5 million this season and if things take a turn, they may have to reach down on the roster for some support. Lynch has been one of the best backs in football over the past few seasons, but this contract situation could play out this summer in camp.
