World Cup Radio Stream Live 2014: Listen Online Streaming England vs. Costa Rica Group D

The World Cup 2014 is live on the radio from ESPN for England and Costa Rica in Brazil at the Estadio Mineirão in Belo Horizonte at 12 pm noon ET and this match is meaningless for the Three Lions and CR is already through and now the two teams meet for the final group match and the knockout stage begins next weekend for the soccer tournament.

England comes in after some heartbreak, as they needed a win against Uruguay or at least a point to stay alive and now they are out of things and heading home after this matchup. Wayne Rooney got his first World Cup goal and while that tied the game against Uruguay, it wasn't good enough and Luis Suarez scored his second goal of the game to help eliminate England. England has already been eliminated in the group after losing their first two group matches and that hasn't happened in years, while Luis Suarez kept the Uruguay team alive after returning from injury to score two goals. England nearly got a point from their second game, but soccer can be cruel and they allowed Uruguay to score after tying up the game late and now they are playing a final meaningless game for them as the knockout round gets closer on the schedule.

The Group D draw is a tough one and England is already eliminated, while Uruguay is playing to survive with Costa Rica and Italy also in the group. England opened up the tournament with a loss against Italy after a late goal from Mario Balotelli in Manaus and now the team is playing for pride after falling to Uruguay. Luis Suarez scored two goals in the game and his second of the match was a heartbreaker, as it came after Wayne Rooney tied the game for England. That goal was the first for Rooney in his long career with the team and now the nation is eliminated and they will have to continue waiting after last winning the Cup and making it to the final back in 1966.

The United States came into their game against Portugal after a dramatic win against Ghana that saw Clint Dempsey score 30 seconds into the game to give the US a 1-0 lead. After allowing Ghana to tie it up late, the Americans converted on a beautiful corner kick from Graham Zusi that John Brooks put in and now with the Portugal point, the team is in position with Germany to advance.

The US started off the Portugal game with a bad mistake by Geoff Cameron in the defensive zone and that set up Nani with an easy shot and he put that into the net past Tim Howard for an early 1-0 lead. The Americans have been taught well by Jurgen Klinsmann, as they do now give up when down and in the second half Jermaine Jones scored on a fantastic shot from the top of the box that froze the Portugal keeper and went in for the 1-1 tie.
