James Blake House Fire: Tennis Star Home Burns In Tampa Bay As Bodies Found Dead With Fireworks and Possible Gunshot Wounds In Avila Community

A home in a rich and enclosed Tampa Bay community burned down on Wednesday and the house belonged to tennis star James Blake, who is renting the property and was not present at the time of the fire and local reports say multiple dead bodies have been found in the home and that fireworks were attached to the head of one of the victims and that may have been the cause of the fire.

According to Deadspin.com, three people were found dead and a fourth person may be dead buy that is unconfirmed and the fire started up early in the morning and that loud bangs were heard from the home that could have been the fireworks mistaken for gunshots. Deadspin writes that Blake bought the home in Avila for $1.5 million and he could not be reached for comment yet.

Blake is retired now from tennis and he reportedly bought the home back in 2005. TMZ.com reported that the fire started early on Wednesday and that three bodies were found inside. The cause of the fire has not yet been found and that some gas cans were found in the home. The Daily Mail reports that "heavy duty" fireworks were found wrapped on the heads of the bodies and that one man was found on the floor and a woman was found in a bed in the home. TV reporter Meredyth Censullo reported that news on Twitter and also that one of the victims had a "gunshot wound" to the head that may have been from the fireworks.
