Oakland Raiders Rumors: Denarius Moore Traded if Mike Evans, Sammy Watkins Drafted? James Jones, Rod Streater Starters as Dennis Allen Adjusts Roster

The Oakland Raiders offense is slowly coming together. The team has their starting quarterback after a trade for Matt Schaub. They have their one-two punch ground game with Darren McFadden and Maurice Jones-Drew. They have a developing tight end in the second-year pro, Mychal Rivera. All they need now is a big-time wide receiver. As interest grows in the draft, could a trade be in the works for other receivers on the roster?

Denarius Moore was supposed to be their big playmaker. The Oakland Raiders acquired the receiver in the fifth round of the 2011 draft in hopes that he would develop into a star, but so far that has failed to happen. Instead he has become more known for his dropped passes and missed opportunities than anything else. He is the main reason why the Raiders are looking for receivers in the draft which could mean a trade is coming soon.

According to ESPN's Paul Gutierrez of ESPN, the Raiders will attempt to trade Moore is they are able to land Sammy Watkins or Mike Evans in the draft. Reggie McKenzie believe that either receiver is a better option than Moore and could be a better producer in the red zone. Gutierrez referred to Moore's inconsistencies as his downfall. However, after putting up 695 yards and five touchdowns last season despite inconsistent quarterback play makes him solid trade bait.

So what is Moore worth? Being a fifth-round pick it is more likely that Oakland would get a fifth round pick or later for the receiver if they opted to trade him before the draft. If they trade him after the draft, the team might get lucky and get a fourth-round pick for next year. The Raiders could also attempt to work out a trade for Moore during the draft if they land either first-round target. Placing Evans or Watkins on the field with James Jones, Rod Streater and Andre Holmes would get nice results and give the Raiders more picks for later.

Oakland has no picks in the fifth or sixth rounds of this year's draft. They could attempt to package Moore with possibly a seventh round pick and move into spots for both of those rounds. If Moore is getting traded, the Raiders must be flexible with what they are willing to accept in return.
