Miami Heats Rumors: LeBron James Downplays Ankle Injury, Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade Rip Team Effort as Erik Spoelstra Concerned Lineup Changes Hurt Title Shot

Frustration is running high for the Miami Heat. The team's pursuit of a third straight NBA championship has not been as easy as the team would like and after notching their seventh loss in eleven games to the New Orleans Pelicans, a few Miami's stars are growing concerned that maybe effort is playing a factor into the recent rough patch.

According to Chris Bosh, the Miami Heat simply "suck" right now. The big man is stressing that the team needs to star turning things around and it starts with getting on the same page before the postseason begins. Miami has already earned a spot in the playoffs, but playing the way they are right now oculd guarantee an early exit.

"We all need to get on the same page and figure it out," James said, via the Orlando Sentinel. "I don't know what we're going to do, but we have to figure this out. There's too many excuses. Everything is an excuse. Something goes wrong? An excuse. Lineup change? An excuse. Turn the ball over? An excuse. We need to own what we're doing right now, and what we're doing right now isn't good enough. We're not doing anything,"

The Heat have lost two straight games to teams with losing records. Concern is building that maybe the team is complacent after winning two titles. Dwyane Wade told reporters that right now the jury is still out on whether or not the Heat have what it takes to defend their title. Injuries are not helping. Both James and Wade have recently suffered ankle injuries that could cause even more setbacks for Miami in the future.

"We've always had lineup changes," James said. "Guys who are on the floor need to produce. It's that simple. It's very frustrating. We're all frustrated. We just got to all get on the same page. I don't know what we're going to do, but we've got to figure it out."

Bosh stressed that the team needs to improve their communication efforts and do a better job of figuring out what went wrong with each loss. The Heat will not have much time to do so. Miami faces Portland on Monday before a big Eastern Conference showdown with the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday. Both James and Wade would not discuss the severity of their injuries, but it should be expected that everyone will be in the lineup when it comes time to play the Pacers and continue competing for that No. 1 seed in the playoffs.
