Seattle Sounders vs. Kansas City Live Stream: Watch Online MLS Soccer Match Sporting Streaming Season Opener

Seattle Sounders and Sporting Kansas City are opening the MLS soccer season with a match at CenturyLink at 3 pm ET and it will be streaming from NBC Sports Live Extra and the Major League Soccer season starts with KC opening their championship Cup defending season and it has Clint Dempsey ready for his first full season with the team after coming over last year.

The Sounders start things off with two home matchups and they play against Toronto FC and then they go on the road for their first game against Montreal and then the team plays against Columbus as well as the Portland Timbers and that will be a rematch against the team after the playoffs loss last season. Heading down the busy start to the season the Sounders have matchups with Dallas and Chivas USA and then they have a nice stretch back at the Link at home for three matches in a row.

Kansas City starts off on the road against the Sounders and then they will return home against Dallas at Sporting Park for their first home match since winning the MLS Cup and that will be a huge game for them and then the team plays against Colorado and Real Salt Lake and that will be a tough early test for the team. Sporting won after an amazing shootout and it was one of the most exciting games of the past few years and Sporting ended up on top and they won its first MLS title in over a decade and the matchup was 1-1 tie before the shootout and now they are looking for a second go of it.

Clint Dempsey is coming into things with high expectations and the US national team is looking for him to play very well this season ahead of the World Cup and now he is one of a number of new players on the team for the Sounders and they have some high expectations coming. The Seahawks won the Super Bowl and the Sounders play in the same stadium and they are hoping for some of the same and their fans are very passionate as well and Dempsey said that he is feeling good after a loan to Fulham and while he didn't score at all while over there and Fulham was bad, losing nearly all their matches, he at least got to get moving with some of the top teams in the EPL. Dempsey said he hoped things went better, but he felt it was necessary to get things going and now he is heading into the season with a chance to get things back on track.
