Cavaliers Trade Rumors: Luol Deng and Tyler Zeller Targets As LA Clippers, Detroit Pistons Options For Kyrie Irving Future At Deadline?

The Cleveland Cavaliers are looking like they will be active at the deadline after trading for Spencer Hawes and with Luol Deng on the block as well, the team is looking at deals with the Detroit Pistons or LA Clippers with Tyler Zeller in the middle of discussions.

ESPN.com is reporting that the Cavaliers and Clippers are talking about a deal involving Zeller and Reggie Bullock and that could be a move that helps both sides. The Cavs have been looking to move Deng, but that is proving difficult since he does not want to sign an extension and here the moves would be for two former first round picks.

The two teams may come to an agreement and more on that will come as it happens. Hawes was moved in a deal with Earl Clark and second round picks and the Sixers sort of got what they wanted out of everything. The team wanted picks ate the deadline and now they have them and that is one reason why they finally pulled the trigger.

Hawes has been having a fine season for the Sixers and has averaged 13.0 points and 8.5 rebounds while starting in 53 games and now he moves along with his $6.6 million to the Cavaliers. The Sixers get their picks and now they are starting to really have a ton in their arsenal and the deal also included Clark to Philly and Henry Sims back to Cleveland on the other end.

The Cavaliers have given up many picks this season for Deng and Hawes and all of this is to try and keep Kyrie Irving in the future and this may help that.
