Tim Tebow is hitting the morning show circuit on Friday and he is on GMA for Good Morning America with Robin Roberts and Josh Elliot and he is guest hosting before Super Bowl XLVIII on ABC and he will be featured in commercials on the big day and now the NFL quarterback makes the move from ESPN to the morning show for a guest spot.
Tebow has been out of the league since getting cut loose by the Patriots back in the summer before the season started and now he is working with ESPN on the SEC Network and clearly he is ready for his close-up, as he seemed totally comfortable on TV and hosting in the morning. Tebow has been taking a new look at his career and while he said that he will pursue his NFL career, he will be focused on working in TV and is excited to get to work with the SEC Network.
Tebow's former team in the Denver Broncos are in the Super Bowl and he has an interesting connection there, as he was the quarterback before Peyton Manning was signed and it was that move that got him traded to the Jets and set him on the trajectory where he is now. Tebow went to the Jets from the Broncos after he led the Broncos to a number of comeback wins and playoff victory and now he is out of the league again.
Tebow was drafted by the Broncos and won a playoff game and when he was traded to New York, the Jets had no idea what to do with him and he ended up with 30 passing yards and 100 rushing yards and while yes, he isn't a great quarterback, it's ridiculous that the Jets wasted his talents. While with the Broncos Tebow did some great things and while they weren't conventional, he has won a playoff game and that is more than a number of starting quarterbacks in the league can say. Tebow will continue to work towards getting back into the NFL and now he is working on TV and seems to enjoy the spotlight.
