Percy Harvin Playing In Super Bowl: Seattle Seahawks WR Could Play Against Denver Broncos In SB XLVIII At MetLife

Percy Harvin missed the Seattle Seahawks NFC Championship game against the San Francisco 49ers and now he could be available to play against the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl and the matchup for SB XLVIII at MetLife Stadium could be one of the best in years with the top seeds in the NFC and AFC making it into the championship.

Harvin missed the 49ers game with a concussion that he sustained against the New Orleans Saints and now he could be healthy for the Super Bowl in New York at MetLife Stadium and that would be a huge boost for the Seahawks. According to ESPN.com, Harvin will be re-evaluated next week and that comes after Pete Carroll announced that the receiver would be out for the game against the Niners on Sunday. Harvin had a minor impact on the team during the regular season and any impact he can make in the Super Bowl in February will be good for the Seahawks.

Russell Wilson showed on Sunday that he can without Harvin in the lineup and players like Golden Tate and Doug Baldwin stepped up and they will need to do that again in two weeks. The Seahawks advanced to the Super Bowl and now they will be playing against the Denver Broncos and the game comes after he played for the first time during the season in November against the Vikings. Harvin was traded earlier in the year from Minnesota and after playing in that game and making one catch and returning a kickoff for a touchdown, he got injured again and after returning against the Saints he was knocked out with a concussion.

Harvin now will have a chance to heal up over two weeks and even if he is limited, he could be another option for the Seahawks. The team had an impressive performance on Sunday and Harvin was injured in the first half against the Saints and later was checked for a concussion. The Seahawks and Broncos both advanced to the Super Bowl as number one seeds and now they will meet on February 2, 2014 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey and the Super Bowl XLVIII event will get started up in the New York area.
