The Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars are playing in a terrible Thursday night football matchup and the Week 14 game has two teams battling for the first overall pick in the draft and the matchup will be at EverBank Field and has Houston visiting Florida and the matchup will be starting up at 8:25 pm on the NFL Network and will be streaming online from the NFL.com league website.
The Jaguars and the Texans are two of the worst teams in the league, but it's Houston that is coming into the game looking terrible, as they have lost 10 straight games and could easily be winless this season, while the Jags have won three of four and have looked respectable doing it. The Texans have been falling apart all season and with Arian Foster on the sidelines and a rookie under center in Case Keenum, things aren't looking too good for the final stretch of the season either. The team won its first two games by eight combined points and they could easily be 0-12 at this point and now they will face a 3-9 team that was 2-14 last season and is coming off of a nice win over the Browns that saw Cecil Shorts make a fantastic catch at the end of the game to seal things up.

The Texans come into the game after another close loss and it was the third straight time the team has lost to the New England Patriots after also losing to them in the playoffs last season. Foster is out with a back injury and while his backup Ben Tate rushed for over 100 yards last week, it wasn't enough to win the game and now the Texans have this matchup before another divisional game against the Indianapolis Colts and win would give the team just its second division win of the season.
The Texans defense has been one of the best in the AFC, but that hasn't helped them to win games and to finish the season they have a tough schedule, including going on the road against the Colts and the hosting the Denver Broncos and after that they finish on the road against the Titans, one of only two teams they have beaten this season. The Jaguars have been terrible for most of the season, but since having their bye in Week 9 following their London game loss to the 49ers, the team has only lost one game and that was to a tough team in the Arizona Cardinals that could end up in the playoffs.
The Jaguars finish the season with the Texans and then the Buffalo Bills at home before hosting the Titans and then they finish on the road against the Colts. Cecil Shorts has been the best player for the team this season and the Jags appear to have some solid talent going forward for Gus Bradley. The two teams meet on Thursday at 8:25 pm ET and has the Houston Texans visiting the Jacksonville Jaguars.
