The Seattle Seahawks have a huge game on Monday night football against the New Orleans Saints and star wide receiver Percy Harvin may be out for the matchup, as he is doubtful for the Week 13 contest after his surgically repaired hip injury flared up again.

Harvin returned for the first time this season since having hip surgery against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11 and after a bye week last week for the Seahawks, he suffered a setback and now likely will be out for Monday. The Seahawks have a lot riding on the game, but not enough to push Harvin, as they are 10-1 in the NFC and looking to lock up home field advantage as the number two team in conference comes to CenturyLink Field. According to ESPN.com, the team wants to be cautious and said that the injury isn't serious, but that they want to take it easy with Harvin heading into the playoffs.

Harvin didn't practice on Saturday and that likely means he will not be playing against the Saints on Monday night. Harvin showed some of his past explosiveness in his return game against the Vikings, his former team, taking back a kickoff over 50 yards and he also had one catch for 17 yards that was a highlight play. Harvin dealt with soreness after the game and after the bye week Harvin still felt some discomfort and that is why the team is holding him out.

The Seahawks won't have Harvin, but they are in line to have Marshawn Lynch despite him being a bit banged up this week. Lynch was able to practice on Saturday and before the week and he looks fine after the bye week to start on Monday. Lynch is nearing 1,000 yards for the season and he has great past memories from years ago when the Saints and Seahawks matched up in the playoffs, as Lynch broke off one of the biggest highlight plays in history when he barreled his way across the Saints for a touchdown.

The game on Monday night football starts at 8:30 pm from CenturyLink Field and has the two best teams in the NFC facing off in the Seattle Seahawks and the New Orleans Saints.
