Chris Ivory Fantasy: Rex Ryan To Run New York Jets RB Against Buffalo Bills In Week 11 With Bilal Powell As Santonio Holmes and Kellen Winslow Return

The New York Jets have been one of the most surprising teams in the NFL this season and they are firmly in playoff contention as they head into their Week 11 game against the Buffalo Bills and head coach Rex Ryan expects to use Chris Ivory plenty as both Santonio Holmes and Kellen Winslow returns to the offense for fantasy football owners.

The Jets have been a decent team to have fantasy players for the season and Ivory has been one of the more productive backs in the league along with Bilal Powell, as he had a nice game last week against his old team in the Saints. The Jets did not give Ivory much against the Bills last time around with just four carries for five yards, but the way he played last week leading into this game likely means that Ryan will give him more touches and he also could have an expanded role with Holmes and Winslow getting eased back into the lineup.

Ivory has been up over 100 yards in two of the past three games and he has been excellent during the three game stretch, averaging over 80 yards per game and now he is back in the mix after having just over 20 yards per game in the first five on the schedule and the Bills are giving up a decent amount of yards to backs this season with over 120 total yards per contest and that could mean some big business for Powell and Ivory. Over the past three wins for the team with losses in between each week, Ivory has put up over 250 yards rushing yards in those games and he has one touchdown over the past four games and against the Bills he could have a nice productive day.

Ivory rushed for 139 yards and averaged over seven yards per carry with a score on Sunday and two weeks ago he had 104 yards against the Bengals and a tough defense and after having single digit carries in three of the past five games, he was up over 30 against the Bengals and had 18 against the Saints and could be in line for more against the Bills. The Jets are averaging over 120 yards per game rushing the ball and now they are looking for a road win after getting a victory at home against the Saints and they are coming off of a bye week as well.

Holmes is coming back and that could open up the rushing game with more weapons for Geno Smith to throw to and the defense to deal with after he dealt with a hamstring issue. Holmes has not played since September and he has just 10 catches for 243 yards this season and he had just one catch on five targets in his last game. Kellen Winslow is also coming back after a suspension and he was playing very well before going out, as he had 17 catches this season and had a nice game with six for 73 yards against Tennessee before going down.
