All of those games will take place on Friday. For those starving for NCAA Basketball because the NBA is not your thing or there is no team to root for in your state or city, the NCAA is finally here.

Though they did not make a NCAA Tournament appearance last year, the Kentucky Wildcats are expected to have a big year. John Calipari's squad is still fairly young, but they are a talented bunch that will try to bounce back from a 21-12 campaign season.

What about the NCAA Champions? When do they get their shot to begin their title defense? Well, Louisville Cardinal fans will have to wait a bit. They take the floor on Saturday, so a 24 hour wait will be necessary.

None of the top ranked teams in the 25 will play each other, so for the most part, they will play average schools. However, teams worth mentioning that will be in battle on Friday and not topped ranked, Maryland faces Connecticut (18) and the Oregon Ducks (19) face Georgetown.
