Houston Rockets vs. Los Angeles Lakers Live Stream: Watch Online at 9:30 p.m. ET

Watch the Houston Rockets vs. Los Angeles Lakers live online as the streaming action is available via NBA League Pass. The Rockets' Dwight Howard will face his old ball club and unfortunately, this will become the highlight of this matchup. Tip off is set for a little after 9:30 p.m. ET.

The Rockets are off to a quick 4-1 start. They have defeated their opponents soundly through the first two weeks of the NBA season. They immediatley got past the Charlotte Bobcats in the season opener, followed by a victory over the Dallas Mavericks and Utah Jazz. Their momentum was slowed down by a hungry Los Angeles Clippers team, handing the Rockets their first and only loss of the season.

Most recently, the Rockets traveled to Portland where they played the Trail Blazers. Thanks to low scoring second quarter from the Trail Blazers, the Rockets were able to take a lead into the half and they never looked back. Howard finished with a double-double, scoring a season-high, 29 points, grabbing 13 rebounds. However, it was superstar James Harden stealing the headling, scoring 33 points with seven rebounds, three assists a steal and two blocks.

The Rockets will battle a Lakers team that does not have as lethal as a lineup. While the Rockets already have Howard and Harden, they also possess guys like Jeremy Lin, Chandler Parsons, size in Omer Asik and defensive help off the bench in Patrick Beverly. The Lakers have Pau Gasol and... Pau Gasol. Laker fans might argue that Xavier Henry, who has been solid through the first games of the season, but Gasol is pretty much alone as an established star.

Steve Nash is still going through issues with his legs and Chris Kaman's best years are in his past. The Lakers do not have Kobe Bryant and even then, the Lakers appear to be shorthanded for this dynamic Rockets team.

Many are predicting the Rockets will wind up in the NBA Finals and some say they have what it takes to dethrone the Miami Heat. We will have to continue following the NBA season in order to see this if this is true.
