The Hurricanes are ranked higher than they have been in years at number seven in the nation and the Seminoles are ranked at number three and the game will be at Doak Campbell Stadium. Jameis Winston has vaulted himself into the Heisman race and last week he passed for nearly 300 yards again in the win over NC State and now he goes up against a tough Hurricanes defense. The Seminoles have put themselves into great position behind Oregon in the BCS race and they come into the game undefeated in their conference with a 5-0 record and they also are on a seven game winning streak. The team has been one of the most consistent in the nation and they are in the top five in both offensive and defensive scoring, averaging over 50 points per game and that includes the matchup against Clemson on the road.

The team is ranked in the top 25 in both passing and rushing yards per game and the defense has been great, allowing just 13 points per game, including a 63-0 shutout of Maryland. The team is coming into a tough stretch with Miami and after that is an away game against Wake Forest and then the team plays against Syracuse and Idaho and then they finish with an away game against Florida. The Gators matchups on the road are always tough and the team comes in after a nice stretch with wins over Clemson, MD and NC State and now they play Miami.

Miami is coming into their final stretch hot and they will be on the road against Duke in two weeks and that comes after Florida State and Virginia Tech. The team finishes with Virginia and Pitt and the Canes have been excellent with their rushing attack, averaging over 200 yards per game. The Canes are scoring nearly 40 points per game and allowing under 20 and they have pulled out two close wins the past two weeks and now they have the chance to stay on top of the division and it could set up the ACC conference championship between these two teams.
