Tom Brady Game-Winning TD Pass: Kenbrell Thompkins Throw Shows Why QB Is Still The Best In The NFL (SWR Commentary)

The New England Patriots pulled off a stunning comeback against the New Orleans Saints and the winning score came with under 10 seconds left on a fantastic throw from quarterback Tom Brady to rookie Kenbrell Thompkins and that shows why he is still one of the best QBs in football.

Brady has had a tough time this season after losing Wes Welker and Aaron Hernandez along with Rob Gronkowski and he slowly has been developing good relationships on the field with rookies Aaron Dobson and Thompkins. The play at the end of the game on Sunday was a perfect strike and brought the Patriots back to improve to 5-1 after defeating the Saints. Brady finished with one touchdown and 269 yards passing and he showed why he is still one of the best quarterbacks in the league, as not everyone can make that throw or has the guts to even try it.

Brady was also dealing with an injury to wideout Danny Amendola and while he is not going crazy with numbers like Peyton Manning, he still has very solid stats this season, passing for 1,480 yards and eight touchdowns this year. While he has only had one game over 300 passing yards, he has just four interceptions and has been completing just under 60 percent of his passes.
