Denver Broncos Schedule Week 6: Jacksonville Jaguars Will Beat Spread and Game Will Be Closer Than Anyone Thinks (SWR Commentary)

The Denver Broncos will beat the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday in Week 6 of the NFL season, that is a fact, but the historic spread that opened up on the game will not be met and maybe this is a crazy prediction, but this game will be closer than most people think.

Football players are prideful individuals and while the Jaguars have wanted to win every game this season and have not been able to do it once, the embarrassment of the spread and the way people are talking about the team should give them some added fuel on Sunday. The Broncos will win and it probably won't be close, but it's going to be closer than people think. Last season the Jaguars played and epic overtime game with the Texans and while Houston is not Denver and this year's Jax team is not last season's, the game will be closer.

The stats are not kind for the Jaguars, but Gus Bradley is a good coach and he will have the team prepared on Sunday for the Broncos. The game will not be one that the Jaguars can win, but it will be much closer than people expect. The Denver defense has given up plenty of yards and while the Jaguars offense is nothing special, they have some talent in Cecil Shorts and Justin Blackmon as well as Maurice Jones-Drew.

Prediction: Denver Broncos 38, Jaguars 24
