Braves, Dodgers Score: Play-by-Play, Updated Coverage with Stats of NL Division Series Game 3

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves hook up in L.A. for Game 3 of their NLDS.  The series is tied 1-1 and both managers are sticking to their guns, not changing their lineups. Check out MLB's Gameday for scoring updates if you cannot watch the live game or listen to the radio stream.

The Dodgers will send young lefty, Hyun-Jin Ryu to the mound. Another young pitcher will take the ball for the Braves as they will have Julio Teheran on the mound. Who knows how these guys will perform as they are both making their first postseason contributions for their organizations.

Ryu and Teheran, for the first time in the majors, pitched in an MLB rotation. Ryu was overseas, making noise in Korea while Teheran was a highly touted prospect the Braves kept in their minor league system. Here's a look at who these guys will be facing in both batting lineups.

Atlanta Braves Lineup
1. Jason Heyward CF
2. Justin Upton RF
3. Freddie Freeman 1B
4. Evan Gattis LF
5. Brian McCann C
6. Chris Johnson 3B
7. Andrelton Simmons SS
8. Elliot Johnson 2B
9. Julio Teheran P

Funny how things work. The Braves leave Dan Uggla out of the roster to add E. Johnson to their pitching rotation, but he has yet to contribute offensively. Believe it or not, the Braves' hottest hitters are Gattis and Simmons. Heyward might be making the right strides while the Braves are still waiting for Upton and McCann to get their first hits in the series.

Los Angeles Dodgers Lineup
1. Carl Crawford LF
2. Mark Ellis 2B
3. Hanley Ramirez SS
4. Adrian Gonzalez 1B
5. Yasiel Puig RF
6. Juan Uribe 3B
7. Skip Schumaker CF
8. A.J. Ellis C
9. Hyun-Jin Ryu P

The Dodgers' 2-5 hitters have been destructive. Mark Ellis is hitting .286 along with Uribe. Ramirez has torn the cover off the ball, hitting .444, Gonzalez is hitting .333 and Puig is at .375. The best hitter, however, has been catcher A.J. Ellis posting a .500 batting average through two games this series.
