NFL Week 4 Bye Teams: Which are the Two Teams Idle in Upcoming Week of Football?

As NFL Week 4 rolls around, fantasy owners beware, there will be teams inactive as their Bye Week has arrived. Who will be idle in the next week of the NFL? Find out here.

Carolina Panthers (1-2)

Green Bay Packers  (1-2)

The Panthers and Packers probably feel differently about their Week 4 Byes.

For the Panthers, it's a momentum killer. They played their second consecutive great game of the season and could have easily been 3-0 to start the season. They shutout the struggling New York Giants, defeating them 38-0. The Panthers almost defeated the Buffalo Bills in Week 2, but they were not disciplined enough to close things out. This past Sunday, they seemed to take all their frustration out on the Giants as Eli Manning paid the price, getting sacked seven times in this game.

The Packers are probably glad to see a break in their schedule. They are probably still confused, wondering how they lost a two-touchdown lead after scoring 30 unanswered points. It looked as though the Packers were going to simply go through a scare, but the Cincinnati Bengals picked up a fumble and ran it back for the score, defeating the Packers 34-30. It was the Packers' second loss of the year, both of which have been by less than seven points.

Next up for the Panthers in Week 5, they host the Arizona Cardinals. They will have a chance to get back to .500. The Packers' schedule has them facing their division rival, Detroit Lions.
