Kenny Britt Trade Rumors: Deal Possible To Ravens or 49ers As WR Likely Gone From Titans After Tweets?

The Tennessee Titans suffered a stunning loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday in overtime and after the game, wide receiver Kenny Britt was upset about his lack of targets and on Tuesday he let out some steam on Twitter.

According to ESPN.com, Britt went to Twitter on Tuesday and wrote about his possible future with the team, saying that he likely will be leaving after the season. He referred to what happened with Jared Cook, who was with the Titans and then left to sign with the Rams, calling it the "Jared Cook" card and that he will be looking to try and make it a great year. Cook left the Titans after feeling that he was not used enough and the team decided to let him go rather than putting a tag on him that would have kept him on a one-year deal.

Britt has shown talent at the wide receiver position after being drafted out of Rutgers four years ago, but since then he has also shown a lack of maturity on multiple occasions, including now with his complaining. The coaching staff and head coach Mike Munchak said that they were disappointed in Britt after he was called for a penalty against the Texans, a crucial holding call that got a Chris Johnson run sent back.

The team felt that Britt did it without focus and the team decided to put in a rookie in Justin Hunter to replace him afterwards. The team eventually lost after allowing the Texans to come back and the team was beat on a nice play from DeAndre Hopkins in the end zone. The Titans won their first game against the Steelers, but now the team is 1-1 and is looking at a tough upcoming schedule and the issues with Britt could last for the season.

Britt has not put up good numbers this year, making just five catches in two games and he has only been targeted 11 times over that span. Based on his size and speed he should be much more predictive and through two games he has only gained 35 yards and with the team playing the Chargers next, he could find himself passed over in the offense for Kendall Wright, who has been much more productive, including on Sunday when he had seven catches for 54 yards and touchdown.

Britt has been trying to recreate the promise he had as a rookie and after making at least 42 catches in three out of four seasons, he has just five this year through two games and things could get worse if he doesn't shape up. The Titans already rank last in the league in passing yards per game and the team has some tough games coming up, including the Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle Seahawks on the road and the San Francisco 49ers at home.

Britt could end up getting traded since he already said that he likely will be gone and with teams like the Ravens, 49ers and other lacking at receiver, he could be a target for those clubs depending on how the next few weeks goes and his production.
